  • There are different types of chemical peels for varying skin types. A chemical peel is the most effective for people with lighter skin tone, and those who wish to help improve the appearance of acne, scarring, dry skin, and pigmentation concerns.

  • The chemical solution applied strips away the skins outer layer in a controlled manner. This process stimulates skin regenerative process and the production collagen and elastin.

Unlike mechanical exfoliation, which physically removes dead skin cells through scrubbing, chemical exfoliants used in chemical peels work by lowering the skin’s pH to create an acidic environment. This acidic environment helps dissolve specific skin components based on the depth of the peel.

  • A microlaser peel uses targeted energy to precisely remove the outer skin layers, promoting fast cell turnover and targeted treatment for issues like fine lines and texture.

In contrast, a chemical peel involves applying a chemical solution that exfoliates and removes skin layers, with varying depths depending on the solution's strength.

While a chemical peel can address a broader range of skin concerns and has a shorter downtime, a microlaser peel offers precise control and can work deeper in the skin.
