Clear + Brilliant is a gentle, non-invasive laser treatment designed to improve overall skin tone, texture, and radiance. Often referred to as a “starter laser,” it’s ideal for clients looking to refresh their skin, prevent early signs of aging, or maintain a youthful glow with minimal downtime.

Using fractional laser technology, Clear + Brilliant creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones in the upper layers of the skin. This process stimulates new collagen production and replaces damaged skin with healthy, younger-looking tissue. The result is visibly smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin.

Clear + Brilliant is safe for a wide range of skin types and is commonly used to improve elasticity, reduce fine lines, fade pigment, improve tone, smooth texture, and reduce pore size. It’s a perfect option for clients seeking noticeable results with little to no recovery time.

TREATMENT WALKTHROUGH

  • Discontinue the use of the following products 7 days before your treatment:

    • glycolic acid

    • retinoids

    • exfoliating scrubs

    • salicylic acid

    • acne medications

    • skin bleaching agents

    Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to your treatment.

    Avoid the following procedures for 2 weeks prior to your treatment:

    • microdermabrasion

    • chemical peel

    • IPL

    • hair waxing

    • laser hair removal

    Avoid wearing makeup to your appointment.

    Drink water and eat something prior to your appointment.

  • Patients will receive application of topical numbing cream prior to treatment in order to provide additional comfort.

    Very little perceived pain with this topical numbing cream.

    Your Skin Quality Expert will then gently guide the Clear + Brilliant hand-piece across the targeted area and actively treat your skin.

    Treatment can usually be done in approximately 30 minutes.

  • Expect to experience minor redness post treatment and a temporary sunburn-like sensation. The redness will dissipate over time, lasting anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours after treatment

    The day after treatment, you should expect a “sand paper” like texture and feel to your skin. This is your dead skin cells getting ready to shed.

    Within a week or two after one treatment, your skin will start to feel softer and look brighter.

    Results can last for months depending on age, skin condition, and how you protect your skin.

    The amount of treatments depends on the area being treated. Your Skin Quality Expert will discuss your individual treatment plan at your consultation.

  • Immediately post-treatment, use a bland moisturizer (i.e. Cetaphil® cream) or a very thin layer of petrolatum ointment (i.e. Aquaphor®).

    For the first few days post treatment, cleanse your skin using a gentle cleanser. Avoid scrubbing, rubbing, or use of exfoliants.

    Avoid scrubs, toners, glycolic acid, and retinoids until the skin has healed completely from your treatment.

    Avoid excessive exercise, perspiration, swimming, or exposing skin to heat and sun for 2 days after treatment.

    It is very important that you use sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. The sunscreen you use should offer broadband protection (UVA & UVB) and have a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or more.

    You can return to normal skincare regimen once the skin has completely healed.
