TREATMENT WALKTHROUGH

  • Do not receive injectables for 2 weeks prior.

Avoid excessive sun exposure, self tanning products, or any type of sunburn in related areas of treatment for 2 weeks.

Discontinue the use of active ingredients 2 weeks prior to treatment.

Do not wax, thread, tweeze, or use hair removal products on the area for 2 weeks prior.

  • During the treatment, you will not feel any pain. Your Skin Quality Expert will use a medical grade scalpel to scrape your skin at a 45-degree angle to gently exfoliate your complexion. After your treatment, a serum or moisturizer will be applied to soothe and hydrate your skin.

  • Your skin will immediately look more radiant and glowy. Following treatment, skin will need time to heal so we recommend frequent sunscreen use.

Treatments can be done as early as every 2 weeks.

  • Avoid hot showers/bathes/steam/sauna and extensive workout for 48 hours, or until redness has subsided.

Direct sunlight exposure is to be completely avoided immediately following treatment.

Avoid active acids, retinols, and exfoliation for 5 days post-treatment.

SPF 30+ must be applied daily to the treated area for a minimum of two weeks.

Cleanse the treated area twice daily with a gentle cleanser, followed by a hydrating serum or cream, and apply your SPF 30+ last.

  • Dermaplaning is a safe and effective treatment for most skin types - we recommend coming for a complimentary consultation to determine if this treatment is right for you.

  • There are different types of hair that grow on the body. The hair on your face is typically Vellus hair. When removed, this soft and fine vellus hair grows back at the same rate and texture.

  • Dermaplaning is typically recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your skin type and needs. This frequency allows for the removal of dead skin cells and maintains a fresh, smooth complexion.

Maintaining a good skincare routine and applying sunscreen daily will help protect and enhance the results of your dermaplaning treatment.
