You don’t have to choose between keeping unwanted hair or dealing with pesky razor bumps and ingrown hairs. With laser hair removal, you can get rid of hair on unwanted spots comfortably and safely. Through a series of treatments, laser hair removal targets the pigment in the hair and transmits heat energy back to the hair follicle. The production cells within the follicle will be destroyed, preventing or minimizing any further growth. When the hair follicle is damaged permanently, treated areas will have the hair reduced 60-90%. The procedure is safe and will not damage the surrounding skin in the targeted area.

Area should be shaved (No waxing, threading or tweezing prior).
No sun exposure in the past 4 weeks or self tanning products on the skin.
Must not be on any photo-sensitizing medication.

A hand piece will be placed against the skin as the light is pulsed onto the hair follicles.
You will experience a sensation that feels like a elastic band against the skin. Minimal discomfort.
Treatment time will vary depending on the targeted area.

Following treatment, there may be a slight redness to the skin which usually resolves within a few hours.
Appearance of “stubble” may appear in 1 – 3 weeks post treatment. This is not hair re-growth, but the treated hairs being expunged/purged from the skin.
6-10 treatments are needed, spaced 6-8 weeks apart for the body. 4-6 treatments are needed for the face.
There will be approximately 80-90% hair growth reduction. Maintenance treatments are recommended 1-6 times a year.

Aloe to be applied after treatment.
Apply a sunblock with SPF 30 if sun exposure is unavoidable.
You can bathe or shower as usual, however treated areas may be temperature sensitive, so cool showers or baths will offer relief.
Avoid swimming in pools with chemicals/chlorine.
Avoid use of scented lotions or soaps, exfoliant creams, loofa sponges and aggressive scrubbing in treated areas.
Makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment and regular activity can resume immediately.
We recommend refraining from exercising for 24 hours.
