Laser resurfacing is a powerful, non-surgical treatment that improves overall skin tone, texture, and clarity. By using laser energy to stimulate collagen and remove damaged skin cells, it helps melt away fine lines, sun damage, acne scars, and uneven skin texture—revealing healthier, more radiant skin.

Popular options include Non-Ablative Laser Resurfacing (minimal downtime), Fractional Laser Resurfacing (faster healing), and ProFractional Resurfacing (deeper results). Each treatment is designed to boost collagen, smooth skin, and deliver long-lasting rejuvenation.

Whether you're targeting signs of aging or simply want brighter, more even skin, laser resurfacing offers a proven solution for total skin renewal.

LASER RESURFACING RESULTS

TREATMENT WALKTHROUGH

  • Discontinue the use of Retinol products at least 3-5 days prior to treatment.

Avoid sun exposure or self tanning products for 4 weeks prior to treatment.

  • You’ll receive a combination of local anesthetic to prevent any discomfort.

After your skin is cleansed, your Skin Quality Expert will be apply the laser heat to the skin. Patients will feel a mild prickling or burning sensation as the laser moves across the skin.

  • Most clients will appear to have a “sunburn” effect for 2-3 days, which will then fade to pink. You can cover this with makeup if desired.

Flakiness and dry crusting is common and will gradually clear.

Swelling following treatment is normal and should subside within 48-72 hours. Skin will feel itchy, then start peeling.

1-4 treatments are needed to obtain optimal results, though results may be noticeable after one treatment. Maintenance is recommended every 18-24 months.

  • Avoid injury to your skin and any sun exposure for 48 hours.

Use a dual UVA/UVB product such as SPF 58 for at least the next 6 months.

Do not use any abrasive cleansers or brushes.

Gentle moisturizers and sunblocks will soothe the affected area.

Use cold wet facecloths as often as you desire to soothe the skin. Over the counter medications such as Benadryl, Claritin, or Tylenol may be able to provide some relief to any discomfort.

Avoid Retin-A/AHA Products for one week post-treatment.

  • Non-ablative Laser Resurfacing: Non-Ablative lasers deliver heat deep into the skin, without damaging the surface. This heat tightens the skin and stimulates collagen production which can lead to healthier, younger looking skin. This approach requires shorter healing period and only the treated area is affected.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing: Fractional Resurfacing stimulates the healing process and helps produce healthy, new tissue. This innovative laser is effective in the treatment of: pigmented spots, melasma, stretch marks, facial wrinkles, sun spots, and acne scars.

Profractional Laser Resurfacing: Profractional Laser Therapy provides you with instant results by penetrating the deep layer of your skin and stimulates the production of new collagen. Profractional laser therapy can improve skin’s tone and texture, reduce the appearance of pigmentation, even out your complexion, and reduce the appearance of scarring.

  • Whether its wrinkles, dark spots, spider veins, sun damage or acne, if you’re struggling with the appearance of your skin, it’s hard to feel your best.
