As we age, collagen production slows down, leaving us with less volume and the loss of that healthy, vibrant glow. PRP Therapy combines microneedling and the injection of Platelet Rich Plasma to encourage cell turnover and leave you with healthy, glowing skin. Platelet Rich Plasma contains a high number of cell growth factors that stimulate collagen production and the growth of healthy cells.

When injected into specific areas it promotes the growth of new healthy cells in the skin, which stimulates collagen growth and the regeneration of tissue, to naturally tighten and smooth the skin. This helps to reduce the appearance of acne scarring, wrinkles and fine lines and even out complexion. PRP injections can also be used to restore hair growth and reduce hair loss.

  • True Balance Medical Spa upholds extremely high sanitary standards. Your health and safety is a top priority to us so we ensure all our technology and equipment is medical grade, clinically-tested and safe.

PRP therapy injects your own materials into your skin, so as long as you do not have a pre-existing blood related health concern or are on blood thinners this treatment is a safe option.

  • PRP therapy results can vary depending on the area treated and individual response.

For facial rejuvenation, you may notice an improvement in skin texture, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, and enhanced overall skin tone.

You can usually start seeing subtle improvements in skin texture and tone within 2 to 4 weeks as the growth factors stimulate collagen and elastin production. Full results usually become apparent after 2 to 3 months, as the natural processes of skin renewal and repair continue. Over time, the skin becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant.

For hair restoration, hair regrowth may become evident after a few months. The most significant improvements often become visible after 6 to 12 months as the hair follicles enter the growth phase.

  • PRP therapy differs from dermal fillers and neuromodulators in both its approach and its effects.

While dermal fillers are used to add volume and contour to specific areas of the face by directly injecting a gel-like substance, and neuromodulators temporarily relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles, PRP therapy leverages your own blood's platelets and growth factors to stimulate natural healing processes.

PRP enhances skin texture, promotes collagen production, and encourages hair regrowth, rather than directly altering the volume or muscle activity. It is often used in conjunction with other treatments for comprehensive results.
