TREATMENT WALKTHROUGH

Shower or bathe the day of treatment to prepare your skin for your SculpSure treatment. Your skin must be free of all makeup, lotions, creams and body oils.
Remove all jewelry and piercings pertinent to the treatment area.
If you have very thick hair in the treatment areas please trim or shave the areas at home before your SculpSure appointment.
Discontinue use of retinol products at least 3-5 days prior to treatment.
No sun exposure in past 4 weeks or self tanning products.

When the treatment begins, you will initially feel a cooling sensation which works to help keep the skin feeling comfortable. The cooling remains on during the treatment while the laser cycles on and off to raise the temperature of the fat cells. Patients feel a warm tingling sensation intermittently throughout the treatment. This feeling is generally well tolerated.

Following treatment, there is no downtime required.
You may experience mildly pink or red skin, tenderness or discomfort, swelling, tissue firmness or nodules in the treated areas. These are all expected side effects which usually resolve without medical intervention.
Treated fat cells are eliminated during treatment and will not regenerate.
Results can be seen at 6 weeks, with optimal results typically seen at 12 weeks.
A series of 2-3 treatments per are recommended for optimal results.

If needed, use a cold compress and/or acetaminophen to help relieve tenderness.
Gently massage the area twice a day for 5-10 minutes. Massage should be continued until your next treatment or for 12 weeks if you have only one treatment.
You can resume your daily activities, including exercise, immediately after treatment.
We encourage you to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day and take a daily walk or continue your regular exercise routine.
For inner thigh post-treatment, avoid crossing legs until any tenderness has resolved.
For submental post-treatment, client should elevate treatment area on pillows while sleeping.
